The Galaxy Z Flip3 is slated to come with some unique new first-party cases
Samsung is one of only 2 OEMs that produces clamshell-style phones updated with flexible displays. This may be why the first-gen Galaxy Z Flip and its 5G variant's choice of cases from its own manufacturer mostly go along the lines of hard shells that clip onto each 'half' of the devices' rear panels, with no protection for their hinges.
However, it seems its maker has addressed this with cases for the rumored upcoming Galaxy Z Flip3. Some of them are linked in the middle this time, occasionally with dangling features that might act as ring-type holders or even clips.
They are found on cases said to be made of silicone or leather and come in clear, purple, mustard or navy color options, the latter of which also integrates a strap, for anyone who has ever wanted to go around dangling their new clamshell foldable by its very own belt.
Their new alleged leaked images might also confirm the design of the phone that might go with them. It is slated to come with an upgraded secondary display that blends into its dual rear camera hump (visible through a wide window in its putative first-party cases), although its main screen might be comparable to the Z Flip or Flip 5G in its dimensions.
Should this new tip be accurate, its contents might also be unveiled at the next Galaxy Unpacked event, set for August 11, 2021.
