Starlink is currently running one of the best monthly subscription fee and dish equipment promos it has ever offered.
While it advertises monthly fees from $79 for the Residential Lite plan and a $149 Standard Kit dish price in select US regions, in some states the discounts reach even deeper in new and rather crafty ways.
Starlink has now introduced a new equipment rental program that essentially gives the Standard Kit that is currently discounted on Amazon, for free. The free Starlink dish campaign is available in states where it needs to spearhead satellite Internet uptake, like Iowa. It is essentially removing all upfront costs for a Starlink subscription, save for the $20 to ship the dish.
The new Starlink dish rental agreement charges zero per month for the equipment as long as the subscriber maintains their line of service. If that ends, one has to return the Starlink dish that has been rented out to them at zero monthly costs.
To top it all off, the Residential Lite plan has been discounted further down to just $49/month in the state, making Starlink one of the most competitive Internet providers for potential subscribers in rural Iowa. In addition, Starlink offers free installation, meaning that technicians will come to your home to mount the dish and test the satellite Internet connection, if needed.
"Free professional setup included, schedule after checkout" confirms Starlink, cautioning that "if you cancel service, you will have to return your Starlink hardware rental."
