Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S25 Edge at Unpacked last month. While details of the thin, design-focused flagship phone remain unverified, a Geekbench listing has now confirmed the presence of the same chipset on the larger Galaxy S25 Ultra.
The S25 Edge is listed with the model number "SM-S937B", and it can be confirmed to be powered by the same Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy on the other Galaxy S25 models, thanks to the listed 4.47 GHz clock speed. Eight cores are listed as well, assuaging any fears of Samsung using the new 7-core Snapdragon 8 Elite. As with other Galaxy S25 models, 12 GB of RAM is standard.
Performance-wise, the S25 Edge keeps up with its peers. It earns a single-core score of 2806 and a multi-core score of 8416. Those numbers aren't representative of the chipset's best, but also aren't noticeably worse than the average Geekbench result of the other S25 series models.
According to a new report, the Galaxy S25 Edge will go on sale in Q2—likely in May, if prior leaks are anything to go by. It'll be positioned between the Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra and is expected to be priced at $1,099 in the US.
