The Galaxy A36 5G is thought to launch with a significant charging upgrade compared to its predecessor in 2025. Now, its alleged model number has popped up in more documentation prior to its launch. The device also now seems to have its own warranty page on a Samsung website.

The Galaxy A35 5G (now available for as little as $279.99 on Amazon) is tipped to be supplanted soon by a new device that might look a little more like the Galaxy Z Fold6 and charge more like the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

It is allegedly known by model numbers that are variations on "SM-A366", such as the SM-A366B and SM-A366/DS monikers spotted on the Global Certification Forum's (GCF) website.

The new listing certifies the "Galaxy A36" to use 5G, although it gives no hints as to when the device might launch.

That event might be imminent, however, as Samsung has created a support page for the same model number on its official website for the United Arab Emirates.

The A36 5G has also joined its A56 5G sibling in completing a Reparability Index report in France, achieving an identical score of 8.4 in the process.

The 2 devices are thought to become the Galaxy A series' first ever 45W Super Fast Charging smartphones later in 2025.
