A Bluetooth SIG listing has confirmed that Nubia is preparing to release a successor to the RedMagic 6S Pro. Unsurprisingly, the RedMagic 7 will support Bluetooth 5.2 and 5G connectivity.

MySmartPrice has discovered a Bluetooth SIG listing that points to Nubia releasing a next-generation RedMagic gaming smartphone. Not only does the listing provide the device's model number, NX679J, but also its retail name. As the screenshot below shows, the NX679J will arrive as the RedMagic 7.

The listing confirms that the RedMagic 7 will support Bluetooth 5.2 and 5G connectivity, although these are givens for a flagship smartphone. Typically, Nubia equips its RedMagic smartphones with high-end SoCs, such as the Snapdragon 888 Plus in the RedMagic 6S Pro. Hence, it seems likely that the RedMagic 7 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen1, Qualcomm's next flagship SoC.

Presumably, Nubia will unveil a RedMagic 7 and RedMagic 7 Pro, based on its RedMagic release cycle so far. Nubia revealed the RedMagic 6 series in March, so we can expect to see its successors appear in Q1 2022. If the RedMagic 6 series is anything to go by, the RedMagic 7 and RedMagic 7 Pro should launch with large AMOLED displays, high refresh rates and plenty of memory.
