If you're an absolute fan of motorsport, you won't want to miss the chance to play this game, which is soon to disappear from the Steam platform. And don't delay, as there are only a few days left to enjoy it.

The video game industry has been going through a lot of changes lately. And if you're a motorsport enthusiast, you'll have to say goodbye to Project Cars 3 by August 24, 2025.

While various initiatives are being launched to support numerous projects in the video game world, such as Stop Killing Games, online stores are undergoing a number of changes. And needless to say, they are not positive.

Released in 2020 and developed by Slightly Mad Studios, Project Cars 3 allowed you to pilot numerous mythical vehicles in frenzied races that put your driving skills to the test. However, the game has been in dire straits since 2022, when Electronic Arts decided to discontinue the franchise. A decision taken at a drastic time, when Slightly Mad was already working on the next game, Project Cars 4.

As a result, the license's image has been severely tarnished by numerous twists and turns, and gamers seem to have deserted the game in favor of other titles, such as Gran Turismo 7, which recently received an update featuring a mythical Japanese vehicle. But that's not all, as DelistedGames magazine recently uncovered a striking detail.

The news comes from Project Cars 3's Steam page, where we learn that sales on this platform will cease on August 24, 2025: "Update on PROJECT CARS 3. All product sales will end on: August 24th, 2025 23:59 UTC. Please note that times may vary by region. If you bought the game digitally it will remain in your library and can be redownloaded in the future. Any DLCs purchased before August 24th, 2025 23:59 UTC will still be available to use after this date. The game's online modes will also remain active until February 24th, 2026.

It should be noted, however, that Project Cars 3 has an offline mode. In other words, if you love the game, you'll still be able to play it single-player after the online servers close and it disappears from the Steam catalog.
