Xiaomi has been releasing plenty of Poco and Redmi devices lately. For context, the Poco M7 Pro 5G arrived in India yesterday, shortly after Xiaomi introduced the Redmi Note 14 5G, Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus 5G in the same market. Evidence recently emerged of those three devices reaching Europe and other markets soon, though.
Typically, the company offers Poco devices globally as re-branded versions of Redmi handsets it sells in China, as proved the case earlier this year with the Poco F6 (curr. $349.99 on Amazon) and the Redmi Turbo 3. To that end, we previously assumed that the Poco F7 would launch next year as a Redmi Turbo 4 for global audiences. Likewise, the Poco X7 Pro appeared to share many characteristics with the Redmi K80, which will likely remain a Chinese exclusive indefinitely.
However, one often reliable leaker now reports that Xiaomi may have other plans for the Poco X7 Pro. Allegedly, the device will actually line up as a re-badged Redmi Turbo 4 with a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra chipset and 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Moreover, @ZionsAnvin believes that the Poco X7 Pro and Redmi Turbo 4 will contain a 1.5K and 120 Hz AMOLED display that measures 6.67-inches across, as well as 50 MP primary, 8 MP secondary and 20 MP front-facing cameras. Arguably, one of the pair's stand-out features will be its 6,550 mAh battery capacity though, which it will be capable of recharging at 90 W. Unfortunately, a release date remains unknown for now.
