NuPhy's current Air series low-profile mechanical keyboards made a splash when they first launched, delivering customisability and premium typing sound and feel previously reserved for full-height mechanical keyboards, all in a much smaller package. As time has worn on, though, competitors like the Iqunix Magi65 Pro and Lofree Flow Lite showed up and handily outperformed the Air series, thanks to their gasket mounts and the buttery-smooth Kailh low-profile mechanical switches that we experienced in our respective reviews.
Now, though, NuPhy has officially announced all the details of the previously teased Air75 V3, which packs the same long-travel Gateron LP 3.0 switches as the Kick75 Low. NuPhy has also chosen to go with premium materials, a gasket mount, and a redesigned chassis design, all of which promise to elevate the sound profile and feel beyond that of the tray-mounted Air V2 series. The Air75 V3 also features a swappable knob, giving users the option to choose whether they want a switch in the top right corner or a customisable knob.
NuPhy Air75 V3 specs and features
The main attraction of the NuPhy Air75 V3 is its low-profile design, which delivers a claimed front height of 13.2 mm — almost 1 mm taller than we measured on the Magi65 Pro — but makes up for the slightly taller height with a whopping 3.5 mm of total key travel, thanks to the new Gateron Low-Profile 3.0 switches.

One of the more interesting features of the Air75 V3 is the addition of a knob, which can be swapped out for an included key switch, giving users optional access to a full navigation column on the right edge. The knob also has two top options, one short and one tall, with the short option likely intended for users who want to use the keyboard with their on-the-go setup and the tall version for more dedicated use at a desk.
Unlike keyboards like the Iqunix Magi65 Pro and the previous NuPhy Air series, the Air75 V3 uses NuPhy IO 2.0 for customisation and macros. While this software has the benefit of being browser-based, like VIA, and has options for features like macros and customising the knob, it isn't quite as powerful as VIA or Keychron Launcher, not to mention QMK. One area where NuPhy IO does have a leg up over VIA is when it comes to firmware upgrades, since many QMK/VIA keyboards require QMK toolbox or a proprietary software utility to flash firmware, while this is simply done in NuPhy IO for the Air75 V3.
NuPhy has also equipped the Air75 V3 with a nifty battery indicator LED, which shows more granular battery percentage than previously.
NuPhy Air75 V2 price and availability
NuPhy has so far only released the Air75 V3 on its own web store for $139.95, which is about the same price as the Iqunix Magi65 (curr. $132.99 on Amazon) and $10 cheaper than the comparable Lofree Flow84 (curr. $149.99 on Amazon). The pre-order will be live until July 10, 2025, after which the keyboard will be sold as an in-stock item instead.
