Nothing is not officially unveiling the Phone (3) until July 1. Nonetheless, the smartphone has already turned up on Geekbench in the wake of the Poco F7 launching yesterday. While the pair share Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, the Phone (3) should surpass the Poco F7 when it comes to RAM.
For context, Xiaomi only offers the Poco F7 with 12 GB of RAM, unlike the range-topping Poco F7 Ultra (curr. $799.99 on Amazon). According to Geekbench, Nothing has equipped the Phone (3) with 16 GB of RAM in a change that also puts the device ahead of the Phone (2) in this regard. There is every chance that Nothing offers 12 GB of RAM as a base configuration, though. At any rate, the combination of 16 GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset sees the Nothing Phone (3) achieving 2,076 in Geekbench 6.4.0 single-core and 6,577 in the multi-core portion of the benchmark.
On the one hand, these results see the Nothing Phone (3) outscoring the Poco F7 by just under 5% in both tests. On the other hand, these scores put the Nothing Phone (3) up there with last-generation flagships like the Xiaomi 14, OnePlus 12 and the cheaper OnePlus 13R. With that being said, a rumoured $799 starting price will likely make the Nothing Phone (3) one of the most expensive sub-flagship smartphone out there when it debuts on July 1.
