New Samsung Galaxy Watch6 series leaks hint at smaller Watch6 Pro model or a Galaxy Watch6 Classic

Information on the battery capacities of Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Watch6 series leaked at the start of the year, with two batteries, likely belonging to the 40mm and 44mm models of the Watch6, surfacing on Safety Korea with slight capacity increases from last year's models. Word on the grapevine indicates Samsung will bring back the rotating bezel to its smartwatch lineup this year, with some believing a Galaxy Watch6 Classic could make a return.

While nothing is concrete at this point, the good folks over at GalaxyClub—usually reliable with leaks—seem convinced that Samsung will bring back a Classic model to this year's lineup, after ditching it in favor of the Watch5 Pro last year. For one, the Galaxy Watch4 and Watch4 Classic were codenamed "Wise" and "Fresh". The Watch6 series looks to be codenamed "Wise6" and "Fresh6", hinting at inspiration drawn from the Galaxy Watch4 lineup. Last year's Watch5 models were codenamed "Heart-S". "Heart-L", and "Heart-Pro".

There's also the matter of batteries. In addition to the leaked capacities of the batteries of watches "SM-R93x" and "SM-R94x", a new battery for "SM-R95x" has now leaked. The first two batteries were rated at 300 mAh and 425 mAh respectively, presumably for the 40mm and 44mm Watch6 models. The battery for "SM-R95x" is rated at 300 mAh too, effectively ruling out any chances of it being the Watch6 Pro. The Watch5 Pro featured a much larger 590 mAh battery, for example. 

All of that in mind, it seems possible that this new watch, "SM-R935x," with a 300 mAh battery is the 40mm Galaxy Watch6 Classic. Interestingly, however, a new leak from Korea claims Samsung will launch two Galaxy Watch6 Pro models. The Watch5 Pro came in a single 45mm model—with a 590 mAh battery—but it seems Samsung may offer the Watch6 Pro in a smaller package as well this time out. That smaller Watch6 Pro could well be "SM-R95x".
