LG will be unveiling an updated Gram lineup at CES 2024. Based on information available on LG Korea, the Gram 16 and Gram 17 will feature Intel Core Ultra 5 Meteor Lake processors and QHD+ displays. The Gram Pro 16 and Gram Pro 17, on the other hand, get upgrades to Core Ultra 7, 144 Hz displays, and optional Nvidia RTX 3050 Laptop GPU or Arc integrated graphics.

LG is yet to send out global press releases about its upcoming CES launches, but information about new LG Gram models is already available on the company's Korean website. At CES 2024, LG will be introducing new Gram laptops including the new Gram Pro and the Gram Pro 360 with Intel Meteor Lake processors.

LG Gram and LG Gram Pro

We have previously reviewed several LG Gram models including the Gram 14, Gram Style 14, Gram 15, Gram 16, Gram 16 2-in-1, and the Gram 17. Similar to what we've seen in 2023, it looks like LG will just offer the Gram 16 and Gram 17 in 2024 alongside the Gram Pro 16 and the Gram Pro 360.

The Gram 16 (16Z90S-GAOWK) weighs 1.199 kg and features the Intel Core Ultra 5 125H CPU with integrated Intel Arc graphics. The laptop comes with 16 GB LPDDR5x-7467 RAM and a 512 GB NVMe SSD. There's scope for adding another PCIe Gen 4 NVMe drive. Additionally, the Gram 16 also offers 2x USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A, 2x USB Type-C (incl. Thunderbolt 4 and USB4), HDMI-out, microSD card slot, and a 3.5 mm combo audio jack.

LG has equipped the Gram 16 with a 16:10 2560 x 1600 IPS anti-glare display with 350 nits brightness and 99% DCI-P3 coverage. Networking needs are handled by an Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX211 card with Bluetooth 5.3.

The Gram 17 (17Z90S-GAOWK) shares the Gram 16's specifications, save for the 17-inch display. A 77 WHr Li-ion battery powers both the Gram 16 and Gram 17. This seems to be a slight reduction compared to the 80 WHr capacity found in the current Grams.

The LG Gram Pro 16 (16Z90SP-ED7HK), on the other hand, offers a Core Ultra 7 155H CPU, 32 GB LPDDR5x-7467 RAM, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU, and a 90 WHr battery in a chassis that weighs 1.279 kg.

Port selection is same as that of the Gram 16. LG is also offering the Gram Pro 16 and Gram Pro 17 (17Z90SP-GA7CK) with integrated Arc graphics. All Gram Pros feature 144 Hz 400-nit displays.

The new Gram laptops will come with LG's Gram Link software that provides an OS-agnostic way to connect and transfer files between the laptop and Android/iOS devices.

Pricing and availability

LG Korea lists the Gram 16 at KRW 2,490,000 or US$1923 and the Gram 17 at KRW 2,590,000 or US$2,000. Pricing of the Gram Pro 16 and Gram Pro 17 is not yet available.

Although LG hasn't specified availability information, expect the new Grams and the Gram Pros to be globally available by Q1 2024 in Essence White and Obsidian Black finishes.
