At IFA 2025, Acer is launching two brand new Vero laser projectors, the XL2320p and XL2521, both supposedly great for professional environments with a special focus on flexible installation. Both deliver 4,000 ANSI lumens (3,200 ANSI lumens Eco) and come with a laser light source rated up to 30,000 hours, which should cut down on maintenance relative to lamp-based models.
Each supports 360-degree projection, portrait mode, and advanced 2D and four-corner keystone correction to address challenging placements. The XL2320p outputs native WXGA (1280 x 800) at a 16:10 aspect, with a 1.54-1.72 throw ratio and 1.1x zoom, better for classrooms and meeting rooms. On the other hand, the XL2521 raises native resolution to 1080p and uses a 1.48-1.62 throw ratio with 1.1x zoom for sharper content in similar spaces.
Both models list a dynamic contrast ratio of 50,000:1 and cover 93% of Rec.709. Connectivity options include dual HDMI (1.4b on XL2320p, HDMI 2.0 with HDCP 2.2 on XL2521), plus 3.5 mm audio out and 5V/1.5A USB Type-A DC out. Audio is handled by integrated 15 W speakers, with Eco noise levels of 27 dBA on XL2320p and 29 dBA on XL2521.
Both these projectors are launching with IP6X dust resistance and 24/7 operation capability, meaning they should be perfectly suited for continuous usage scenarios, such as small-scale signage. Availability is planned for Q4 2025, with pricing at 699 EUR/CHF for XL2320p and 899 EUR/CHF for XL2521, varying by region.
