The TicWatch Pro 2020 may be a particularly interesting smartwatch due to its dual-layer display that is intended to save battery over time and 1GB of memory. Now, TicWatch has revealed that it has a successor that will launch in 3 days from now. This Pro 3 is slated to rock the latest Snapdragon wearables platform from Qualcomm.

Mobvoi's TicWatch Pro is a premium smartwatch rated for the MIL-STD-810G and IP68 standards. However, its standout feature is its "stacked" FSTN and AMOLED displays. The wearable can switch between them in order to conserve battery if necessary. It also has a new generation, in line with the OEM's latest announcement.

This device is called the Pro 3 GPS, although its immediate forebear, the 2020, is more of a refresh of the original. Nevertheless, a new Mobvoi teaser depicts a watch that looks much like it. However, it also has a 'countdown' page that hints at some of its features, one of which could be a blood-oxygen tracker. In addition, it is also slated for a brand-new processor.

The Snapdragon Wear 4100 is Qualcomm's own next-gen series of 12nm chipsets for wearables. It incorporates its own Always-On Display co-processor and may use less power compared to the preceding 3100 platform. It will have its first outing in the TicWatch Pro 3 on September 24, 2020.
