Deal | Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7 keeps getting price cuts, is now down to $800 USD with 16 GB of RAM

The popular 14-inch Lenovo is seemingly on sale every month at this point. After a price cut in October and then another in early December, at least one retailer is slashing prices yet again before the start of the new year.

As of this writing, B&H has the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7 laptop on sale for $800 USD down from its original price of $1000. This particular configuration is the Intel version with the 10th gen Core i7-1065G7 CPU, 16 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and 512 GB NVMe SSD. When compared to the more uncommon AMD version, the Intel version has slower processor performance but includes support for Thunderbolt 3.

The most notable aspect of the deal is the 16 GB of RAM as previous deals on this same laptop would come with 8 GB of RAM only. Choosing RAM capacity carefully is important here because the modules are soldered and not user-upgradeable on the IdeaPad Slim 7. On the flip side, this particular configuration includes no discrete GeForce graphics and so owners will need to rely on the integrated Iris Plus G7.
