The Infinix Note 50 series has officially launched globally. The Note 50 series comprises the Note 50, the Note 50 Pro, and the high-end Note 50 Pro+ variant. The Note 50 Pro+ model features a 144 Hz AMOLED display, a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate chipset, a 50 MP Sony IMX896 primary sensor, and a 5,200 mAh battery.

Infinix has officially unveiled the Note 50 series globally. The company’s new midrange lineup has three smartphones, with two pro models and one vanilla variant, namely, the Infinix Note 50 Pro+, the Note 50 Pro, and the Note 50. The Note 50 Pro+ comes as a direct successor to the Note 40 Pro+ 5G, which debuted last year. The smartphone brings significant improvements compared to the last generation model in terms of display, processor, battery, and camera.

Under the hood, the Infinix Note 50 Pro+ 5G features the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate chipset (up from the Dimensity 7020 of the Note 40 Pro+) paired with a Mali-G615 MC6 GPU. It packs 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage with no room for storage expansion. Software-wise, the device runs Android 15-based XOS 15 out of the box. However, there is no word on the software support from the brand.

Speaking of the front, the device sports a 6.78-inch screen that outputs at a resolution of 2436 x 1080 pixels. This AMOLED panel has a refresh rate of 144 Hz (up from 120 Hz), but the peak brightness remains the same, at 1,300 nits. The battery capacity is now bigger than before, featuring a 5,200 mAh (up from 4,600 mAh) battery that supports 100 W fast wired charging and 10 W reverse charging.

Furthermore, Infinix has included an optically stabilized Sony IMX896 sensor that outputs at 50 MP. The primary camera is complemented by a 50 MP OIS-enabled periscope lens and an 8 MP ultrawide camera with a 112° field of view. At the front, there’s a 32 MP selfie camera for capturing selfies and video chats. Infinix also packs many AI-powered features into the smartphone, including an AI eraser, AI cutout, AI wallpaper generator, AI writer, and more. Dimensionally, the smartphone weighs 209 grams (0.46), 13 grams heavier than the predecessor, and measures just 7.9 mm (0.31 inches) in thickness.

The Infinix Note 50 Pro+ 5G starts at $370 for the 12 GB + 256 GB model and comes in titanium grey and enchanted purple color options. There’s also a special Racing Edition option available, which features bold tri-color stripes similar to the iQOO 13 BMW edition. Speaking of availability, the Note 50 series availability will vary based on the region.
