Chuwi has unveiled the HiPad Pro, its latest Android tablet. Shamelessly, the HiPad Pro resembles an Apple iPad Pro, with the clue being in its name, too. The Android-based tablet should be much cheaper than Apple's prosumer model, though.

Chuwi has form for imitating Apple's designs, which it has done again with the HiPad Pro. Chuwi's marketing images even resemble Apple's as you can see above and below. Unsurprisingly, the HiPad Pro features lower-end hardware than the iPad Pro series does.

Specifically, Chuwi has equipped the tablet with a 10.8-inch FHD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC, 8 GB of LPDRR4X RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.1 flash storage. Additionally, the device has a 7,000 mAh battery, two cameras and a 4G/LTE modem.

The 1600p tablet is also just 6.9 mm thick and will ship with Android 11. Chuwi states that the HiPad Pro supports an active stylus and a detachable, but it has not revealed prices for the tablet or its accessories. The HiPad Pro will be available from August 3, though. Chuwi will ship the tablet from China, Russia and Spain. Hence, you should have no problem with purchasing the HiPad Pro in Europe.
