Users in the market for a GeForce RTX 5080 or 5090 will have to pay upwards of $1400 to $4000 according to current eBay listings. As a way to combat the price gouging, some PC makers like Gigabyte are bundling the Blackwell GPUs with pre-built systems. In this case, the Gigabyte Aorus line will be launching multiple SKUs of the Supreme 5 PC series this week all equipped with GeForce RTX 50 graphics and AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D hardware.
The Supreme 5 design is notable for its ease of servicing and transport when compared to many regular or non-gaming PCs. The case has built-in handles along the top as well as swiveling tempered glass, latches, and tool-less filters and covers for simpler maintenance. Internally, the model utilizes Aorus components including the X870E motherboard, 1000 W PSU, liquid cooling, and an Aorus PCIe5 NVMe SSD promising sequential read and write speeds of up to 14500 MB/s and 12700 MB/s, respectively. SSD and RAM modules can be installed or removed without screwdrivers.
As of this writing, however, all four Supreme 5 SKUs are backordered with ETA dates ranging from March 28 to April 11 despite the high starting price of $4000 for the "base" RTX 5080 configuration. The model is launching exclusively on Newegg for now with no additional retailers announced.
