Dell was at PAX Prime this year to show off the its upcoming overclocking abilities for the Alienware 13, 15, and 17.

The new updated Alienware 13, Alienware 15, and Alienware 17 will include patent-pending dynamic overclocking features that continuously monitor temperature thresholds in order to ensure maximum processing power.

Beyond the overclocking, each revision will carry USB Type-C to support both USB 3.1 and Thunderbolt 3. PCIe SSDs will be standard to ensure fast loading of games, media, and applications. The Killer Wireless-AC 1535 module and Killer E2400 Gigabit Ethernet NIC controller should provide reliable connections for online gaming. Gaming in 4K will be possible when combined with the Alienware Graphics Amplifier solution.

Upgrade options include the 4K IGZO panel for the Alienware 17 and the QHD+ panel for the Alienware 13. The latter model will also get a battery upgrade to 62 Wh. Lastly, the Alienware 15 will be one of the very few notebooks with the AMD Radeon R9 M395X graphics option.

All new Alienware notebooks are already available.

  • Alienware 13: From 1249 Euros
  • Alienware 15: From 1449 Euros
  • Alienware 17: From 1799 Euros
