The Casio G-Shock GMW-B5000D-1C watch is now confirmed for more European countries. Rumors about this wearable began earlier in 2025, and it has since been released in Japan and the UK.
Now, Casio has listed the G-Shock GMW-B5000D-1C watch at its online stores in countries such as the Netherlands, Spain and Germany. Here, the watch will retail for €549, as leaked by a French retailer in early June. While the company has yet to confirm an exact release date, the product page notes that this watch will be released in July. Plus, users can sign up to receive an email notification of the launch.
The GMW-B5000D-1C is a full-metal watch with a design inspired by the first-ever G-Shock, the DW-5000C. This is a digital watch with a brushed stainless steel bezel and a mirrored finish on the stainless steel band. Plus, the shock resistant wearable is water resistant to 200 m and offers the brand’s Tough Solar charging.
Features of the G-Shock GMW-B5000D-1C include support for five world time zones, a 1/100 second stopwatch, a countdown timer and five daily alarms. Plus, this radio-controlled watch has Bluetooth connectivity, offering users more features and settings in the Casio Watches smartphone app. This gadgets measures 49.3 x 43.2 x 13 mm (~1.9 x 1.7 x 0.5 inches) and weighs 167 g (~5.9 oz). It remains to be seen whether or when the Casio G-Shock GMW-B5000D-1C watch will be released in the US.
