The upcoming Casio Frogman GW-8200TPF Poison Dart Frog watch has appeared in supposedly leaked images. Rumors about this watch began earlier in 2025. It is thought to build on the 2023 GW-8200K-9 watch, which was released to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Casio Frogman watches.
Now, Instagram user kosutasu300 appears to have shared a leaked render and photo of the new Casio Frogman GW-8200 watch. As predicted, the design mimics a poison dart frog, with vertical streaks of bright yellow on a textured and shiny black casing and strap. The render seems to show the Casio Frogman logo in the digital display background, presumably illuminated with the LED backlight.
These images also point to typical GW-8200 series features. These include 200m water resistance, Tide graph and Moon data. There should be the ability to track dive time and surface interval measurements with a log for 10 data sets. Plus, the watch is expected to be equipped with a stopwatch, countdown timer and daily alarms. On top of this, it could offer Tough Solar charging to prolong the watch’s battery life.
The Casio Frogman GW-8200TPF Poison Dart is rumored to be launching in late 2025, though Casio has yet to officially acknowledge the product. The price of this watch also remains unclear; as an indication, the older GW-8200K-9JR has a 79,200 (~$550) RRP.
