The Casio G-Shock G-Steel GST-W110MS-1A and GST-W110MS-7A watches are now available to pre-order in Japan. They are radio-controlled and support various world time zones, with features like a stopwatch and daily alarms. Plus, these hybrid watches offer Tough Solar charging.

Casio has unveiled two new G-Shock G-Steel watches: the GST-W110MS-1A and the GST-W110MS-7A. These products have been listed on the brand’s website in Japan, where they are currently available to pre-order.

The GST-W110MS-1A and GST-W110MS-7A are radio-controlled (Multiband 6) watches that support world time, with users able to choose between 48 cities. They offer tools like a 1/100 second stopwatch, a countdown timer and five daily alarms. The date and day of the week are shown on two of the small digital displays. Plus, Neobrite elements and a double LED backlight ensure you can read the watch in low lighting. On top of this, the new GST-W100 Series watches are water resistant to 20 ATM, and Tough Solar helps to extend the battery life beyond the standard seven months.

While both versions have a black watch face and stainless steel bezel, the GST-W110MS-1A has a black resin band, while the GST-W110MS-7A has a white resin band. Plus, the former has light gray accents and light background digital displays with dark figures, while the latter has dark gray elements and dark background displays with contrasting light figures.

In Japan, you can pre-order the Casio G-Shock G-Steel GST-W110MS-1A and GST-W110MS-7A watches for ¥55,000 (~$385). It remains to be seen whether or when they could launch in other markets like North America or Europe; an older model, the GST-W100G-1B, was released in some EU countries.
