Asus has shown off a new keyboard and mouse at Computex 2025. The ROG Harpe 2 gaming mouse Ace succeeds the ROG Harpe Ace. On the other hand, the Falacta is Asus' take on the 75% split keyboard design that seems to be all the rage of late. Both the keyboard and mouse will be available for purchase in July 2025. Prices will be revealed closer to launch.
Asus ROG Falcata
The ROG Falcata comes with Asus' second-generation HFX V2 magnetic switches and ROG Hall Effect sensors. Asus claims the switches have a click latency of 1 ms in wired mode and 3.5 ms in wireless mode. Its four-layer dampening systems make the keyboard quieter than its competitors. The ROG Falcata interfaces with a PC via USB or a 2.4 GHz dongle that employ's Asus' ROG Lightspeed technology.
Other features include a detachable silicone wrist rest, and a multi-function button and wheel. Asus claims the ROG Falcata can last for up to 102 hours with RGB lighting enabled and 122 hours without.
Asus ROG Harpe 2 Ace
Moving on to the ROG Harpe 2 Ace, it comes with Asus' Aimpoint Pro sensor (42,000 DPI) and glass tracking. Asus has co-developed it with a high-ranking Valorant player and fine-tuned it for e-sports. The mouse weighs 48 grams and is compatible with Claw and Fingertip grips. There are two programmable buttons on the left side, indicating this is geared towards right-handed individuals.
Additionally, it comes with what Asus calls a 'Zone Mode', which essentially bumps up the polling rate from 1 kHz to 4/8 kHz, switches off RGB and switches off any power saving features. This is intended for 'intense' moments where frame-perfect inputs are required. Other features include tri-mode connectivity (Bluetooth, 2.4 GHz, wired) and ROG optical switches rated for 100k clicks.
