The Asus TUF Gaming F16 has been updated with current-gen hardware from Intel and Nvidia. Apart from the addition of Wi-Fi 6E, its remaining specs are the same as its last-gen counterpart

At CES 2024, Asus showed off the TUF Gaming F16 with Intel Raptor Lake-HX and an RTX 4060 GPU from Nvidia. Nearly a year-and-a-half later, it has received a refresh, this time with the latest hardware from both companies. But now, some of its higher-end variants can easily give their similarly specced ROG cousins a run for their money.

For starters, the Asus TUF Gaming F16 can be configured with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX Arrow Lake-HX processor, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 GPU (115 Watts max TGP), up to 32 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM and a 2 TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD. Asus has thrown in second-gen Arc Flow fans to keep thermals in check.

A 90 Wh battery powers the laptop, and you can charge it via USB-C at up to 100 Watts. The Asus TUF Gaming F16 comes with the same 16-inch 2.5K (2,560 x 1,440) 165 Hz IPS LCD panel found on its predecessor. It has a peak brightness of 400 nits, covers 100% of the sRGB colour gamut and supports Nvidia G-Sync.

Other specs include a Thunderbolt 4.0 port, Wi-Fi 6E, a full-sized keyboard with a dedicated Windows Copilot key, a 1080p webcam with Windows Hello support and a chassis that is 17.9 mm thin. Asus will reveal the TUF Gaming F16's price and availability at a later date.
