Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro with Snapdragon 8 Elite tops latest AnTuTu flagship phone ranking

A good number of flagship phones with the Snapdragon 8 Elite and Dimensity 9400 have been released in the last two months. Right after the introduction of these two top-end SoCs, AnTuTu released its October smartphone ranking, and the OnePlus 13 with the next-gen Qualcomm SoC topped that list.

In the latest flagship phone ranking, which has the top 10 smartphones with the highest average scores throughout November, the Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro took the lead. It's powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite, and it secured the top position with an average score of 2,932,124 points.

The Vivo X200 Pro with Dimensity 9400 came close. Having an average of 2,860,505 points, it got the second position. There's not a massive difference between the first and second smartphones, but the difference is noticeable, and that's not surprising. The ROG Phone 9 Pro has an improved cooling setup compared to its predecessor, which allows the SoC to offer stable performance under heavy loads.

Getting back to AnTuTu's latest flagship phone ranking, the third phone on the list is another smartphone powered by MediaTek's new SoC. It's the Oppo Find X8 Pro with an average of 2,847,249 points. iQoo's new Snapdragon 8 Elite flagship, the iQoo 13, got the fourth spot with an average of 2,846,310 points.

Last ranking's top-scoring device, the OnePlus 13, secured the fifth position, and it's followed by the Find X8 and Vivo X200. You can check out the scores of all the phones and their respective positions in the ranking from the picture attached at the end.

Now, what's rather interesting about none of the phones from the RedMagic 10 series got into AnTuTu's latest flagship ranking. They sport an active cooling solution, which is a big advantage in synthetic benchmarks. Of course, AnTuTu does have a set of criteria for this chart, one of which doesn't consider phones with less than 1,000 valid runs. It's possible that the new RedMagic phones didn't meet that criterion.
