MWC 2025 | Alienware unveils affordable 25” gaming monitor with 320Hz refresh rate
Alienware has launched a wide range of monitors at the MWC 2025 event. Among the latest releases is the AW2525HM. It is a gaming monitor designed for competitive gamers, offering a high refresh rate at an affordable price.
Design
The new Alienware 25 320Hz monitor features the new AW30 design language. The monitor comes with an Interstellar Indigo color scheme. A key element of the AW30 design is the small-footprint stand, which offers a clutter-free setup for gamers. Notably, there is also a retractable headset hanger. The AW30 design also brings an enhanced on-screen display (OSD) menu with AWCC 6.6 (Alienware Command Center) integration for easily changing the monitor’s settings.
Highlights
The Alienware AW2525HM features a 25-inch IPS panel with an FHD resolution. For a buttery smooth gaming experience, it has a high refresh rate of 320Hz. Additionally, Alienware claims a 0.5ms gray-to-gray response time (1ms for most observed scenarios in Extreme mode) for minimal motion blur during fast-paced action.
The AW2525HM delivers 99% sRGB color coverage that ensures accurate and vibrant colors from all angles. For seamless visuals, the gaming monitor is compatible with Nvidia G-Sync, and AMD FreeSync Premium. Additionally, it has received the VESA AdaptiveSync certification. The monitor reduces reduced eye strain with built-in ComfortView Plus technology.
At the time of writing, Alienware has not disclosed detailed specifications or high-resolution images of the monitor. The full specs sheet may go live on Alienware’s website, or the company may announce more details closer to the monitor’s launch.
Sustainability and warranty
For sustainability, Alienware claims to use 85% post-consumer recycled plastic in the AW2525HM’s build. The monitor also ships with a recyclable Black Flexobox for eco-conscious packaging. The monitor has a 3-Year Premium Panel Warranty and Alienware Care services.
Pricing and availability
The Alienware 25 320Hz Monitor (AW2525HM) is expected to release in Summer 2025. The target price of the monitor is $249.
