Acer Nitro XV27U KF revealed with a 300 Hz refresh rate and a 1440p native resolution

Acer has unveiled the Nitro XV272U KF, another gaming monitor for the company. The Nitro XV272U KF relies on a 27-inch panel with 10-bit colour depth and 90% DCI-P3 colour space coverage. Apparently, the monitor relies on 'Agile splendor' IPS technology, which is to say that it will be fast.

Specifically, the Nitro XV272U KF offers 1 ms GtG response times and has a 300 Hz refresh rate. The monitor runs natively at 2,560 x 1,440 pixels too, and supports AMD FreeSync Premium to minimise image tearing. Similarly, HDMI VRR is onboard to help keep this under control during fast-paced gaming.

Additionally, Acer claims that it factory calibrates the Nitro XV272U KF to dE <1, deviations below the levels most people perceive. The monitor is VESA DisplayHDR 600 certified as well, which is impressive.

Acer has not announced when it will start selling the Nitro XV272U KF, nor where or for how much. All we have to go on so far is a promotional video, which we have embedded below. The Acer Nitro XV272 with a 240 Hz refresh rate retails for nearly US$500 though, so we imagine that the Nitro XV272U KF will cost more than that.
