Samsung has successfully registered a phone called the SM-A515F with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). This phone is most likely the Galaxy A51, which may also be officially unveiled soon. Its regulatory filings include multiple real-life images, which indicate a lack of notch or pop-up camera, and also show a headphone jack at its bottom edge.

Samsung has registered the SM-A515F with the FCC as of December 5, 2019. Given this model number's similarity to that of the Samsung Galaxy A50 (SM-A505F), this new device is most likely its successor, the A51. It is a phone that may launch alongside others of its series less than a week from now (on December 12, 2019). However, thanks to its latest leak, we already now know how it will look.

The SM-A515F is shown in real life as part of its new certification, in order to verify that it has undergone various stress tests. They reveal that the new Galaxy A phone has a screen that seems clean of features such as a notch. Therefore, the most likely explanation is that the central punch-hole camera hinted at in its preliminary renders is present.

These products of Galaxy A51 guesswork also proposed a headphone jack - and the FCC confirms its presence, next to the phone's USB type C power/data port. Unfortunately, this certification does not list any further specs, besides that it will of course be a 4G/LTE device. It is rumored to have a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display, which, judging by the photographed phone's dimensions and proporations, could indeed be the case.

However, it is much more certain that this panel is flat, as opposed to the dual-curved screens found in the flagship S10 series. The Galaxy A51 is also currently believed to have a 4,000mAh battery and to ship with One UI 2.0 based on Android 10. However, these and other details may not be proven valid until its possible upcoming launch.
