The Samsung Galaxy S11 series is currently believed to have as much as 4 rear cameras in a rectangular module. Some renders associated with the highest-end Plus variant suggested that the lenses were placed in there in a less than appealing pattern. However, OnLeaks has updated these rumors with a new prospective Galaxy S11+ image.

Earlier this year, tipsters such as OnLeaks asserted that the Samsung Galaxy S11 series would move away from its predecessor's esthetics in many respects. It is projected to have a central punch-hole selfie camera, and also follow the emerging trend towards rectangular rear camera housings. So far so good: however, this last detail has also become linked to a rather messy arrangement of sensors within them.

This may have impacted the Samsung Galaxy S11+ or S11 Plus to the greatest extent, as it has led to renders with 4 to 5 rear cameras that, frankly, look as though they had been stuck in there at random. However, OnLeaks has now disavowed such renders as "based upon a first stage prototype".

This leaker has now posted an "updated" Galaxy S11+ render. It shows that this prospective top-end smartphone will have a quad-lens set-up in an upside-down L shape, alongside a flash module. This new image also addresses new rumors that the same device will have a powerful periscope lens.
