ZX06 launches as cheap mini PC with Intel Twin Lake CPU

Quite a number of Intel Twin Lake mini PCs have entered the market recently, and the ZX06 is one of them. Given that it has been spotted on AliExpress, it's no surprise to see that it does not have a brand name, but from the design and the specs, the mini PC appears to be a knock-off of Beelink's S13.

To be specific, the ZX06 packs the Intel N150, which is a newly released CPU from the Twin Lake lineup. At the core, it's a slightly upgraded version of the N100, so the perfo rmance uplift isn't much. The main difference between the two is the clock speed, which makes the newer option marginally better than the N100.

The Intel N150 inside the ZX06 is paired with 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and the mini PC has support for up to a 1 TB 2242 SSD (Corsair MP600 curr. $94.99 on Amazon). Again, these specs don't really make this system any different than the other Twin Lake mini PCs that are available in the market. However, it does have a relatively compact form factor.

On AliExpress, the promotional materials claim that the mini PC has a height of 36.5 mm, and it's said to measure 87 mm in terms of length and width. So, it should be easy to get the ZX06 set up in most workstations. Connectivity-wise, even though it's small in size, there are quite a number of ports available, including:

• 3x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A
• 1x USB Type-C
• 1x DisplayPort 1.4

For wireless connections, there are WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1. As for the price, the mini PC starts at $129, which is pretty cheap for an Intel N150 system. The top-end configuration, which ships with 1 TB of storage, costs $178 on AliExpress.
