This new handset that keeps the clamshell design alive runs Lollipop and has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor under the hood, next to 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage. Its retail price is just $99 USD.
Flip phones are a thing of the past for many, but there are still a few companies that continue to deliver such devices. Next to names like Samsung and LG, ZTE is another phone maker that keeps the clamshell design alive. Now, the time has come for ZTE Cymbal-T, a new flip phone with Android on board.
ZTE Cymbal-T is far from the high-end area of the market but offers an interesting solution as a backup handset or a cheap phone for kids. Its specs include a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor, a 3.5-inch display, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal storage, microSD support, a 2 MP front camera and a 5 MP main image shooter on the back. The list of connectivity features includes 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS.
This handset runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and operates on TracFone's network. The Home Shopping Network offers it with a starter kit that includes a car charger, a case, and 1,200 air minutes, all for just $99 USD.

In my early school days, I hated writing and having to make up stories. A decade later, I started to enjoy it. Since then, I published a few offline articles and then I moved to the online space, where I contributed to major websites that are still present online as of 2021 such as Softpedia, Brothersoft, Download3000, but I also wrote for multiple blogs that have disappeared over the years. I've been riding with the Notebookcheck crew since 2013 and I am not planning to leave it anytime soon. In love with good mechanical keyboards, vinyl and tape sound, but also smartphones, streaming services, and digital art.
