You can set the space mini-game from Android 14's Easter egg as your screensaver with Android 15 Beta 4
Android's Easter eggs are iconic - they've been around for a long time now, and they're just plain, old fun-sized pieces of the operating system's history. Android 15 Beta 4 has a hidden surprise within its Easter egg: the "Landroid". Based on the Android 14 easter egg's design, it's an animated screensaver that transforms an idle Pixel into a slightly more interesting idle Pixel device.
To access this screensaver, users have to navigate to their Pixel's Settings app and find "About phone." Upon tapping "Android version" three times in quick succession, the familiar Android logo will morph into a spacefaring icon. All that's left to is to press and hold this Android for a few moments to launch a mini-game, which is practically your initiation into the Easter egg.
Once you've completed your first mission in the game, head back to Settings and go to "Display & Touch" or "Hub Mode" depending on your device. Look for the "Screen saver" option. If you've successfully unlocked the Landroid, you'll see it as a selectable option.
Users can stare at the spacecraft as it flies past planets, all while the device is idle. It's important to note that this feature is currently exclusive to Pixel devices running the Android 15 Beta 4 update. The final, polished version of the software and the screensaver might not be available until Google unveils the Pixel 9 series later this year.
