Yaber T1 Pro: Portable projector doubles as a lamp and launches for $160

Yaber might not be the best-known brand, but the manufacturer is now offering a new portable projector, namely the T1 Pro. Specifically, it can be preordered for $160, but there are no details on pricing or availability in other countries. Anyhow, this portable device measures only 0.42 x 0.43 x 0.90 inches and weighs just 2.76 lbs. However, there’s also one significant limitation, as the official brightness of 220 ANSI lumens is rather low.

Yaber asserts that this is sufficient for dimly lit rooms or at night. Accordingly, rooms with more sunlight would need curtains to darken them for daytime usage. The T1 Pro further has a projection ratio of 1.18:1 for a projection size between 40 and 120 inches. In terms of resolution, the new Yaber projector offers the usual 1080p.

Due to its compact dimensions and weight, the projector is very portable and suitable for mobile usage. Furthermore, it can be folded and has a built-in gimbal for 180° tilt adjustments. Autofocus is advertised, as are keystone correction, intelligent screen alignment and obstacle avoidance. Additionally, the speakers have a total output power of 8 watts, while the operating system provides access to various streaming platforms. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 are onboard as well. Lastly, there is an HDMI port for connecting external players, as well as USB and a headphone jack. Other portable projectors from various manufacturers can be found on Amazon.
