Xiaomi confirms imminent launch for Book Pro 14 with Panther Lake CPU and 120 Hz OLED

Xiaomi has been teasing the refreshed Book Pro 14 for a good while, and now, the Panther Lake laptop finally has a launch date. As announced by the company, it will launch in China on March 19, 2026, and the brand will likely share global availability details soon after this Chinese debut.

In addition to sharing the Chinese launch date, Xiaomi has revealed additional specs of the laptop. The refreshed Book Pro 14 is confirmed to feature a 14.6-inch OLED display with a "3.1K" resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. Xiaomi adds that it has a peak brightness rating of 1,600 nits and notes that it's a touchscreen.

The company has also revealed that the Panther Lake laptop will feature a relatively large touchpad. This pressure-sensitive panel is said to measure 129 cm². Xiaomi further adds that the Book Pro 14 has dual M.2 slots, with support for up to 4 TB NVME storage.

Alongside these, the company has detailed the port configuration of the Xiaomi Book Pro 14. There aren't many ports on the laptop, but the good part is that it has a Thunderbolt 4 port, which can be used to expand connectivity further (Lenovo ThinkPad TB4 dock curr. $199.99 on Amazon). In addition to that, there's a 5 Gbps USB-A, 10 Gbps USB-C, 3.5 mm audio, and HMDI 2.1 port.

Through a new set of teasers, Xiaomi has also showcased a new colorway of the laptop. Previously, the Panther Lake Xiaomi Book Pro 14 was shown in Soft Mist Blue and Classic White colorways. The new images reveal a Soft Light Pink color option.

For those who missed it, Xiaomi previously shared that the laptop can be configured with up to the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H, a performance-focused processor from the lineup with the capable Arc B390 iGPU. With the three-channel cooling system, it's said to offer 50 W of sustained performance. The battery life is also claimed to be better than that of the Apple MacBook Pro M5.
