MagyarXiaomi Smart Door Lock E10 with 99% accurate fingerprint scanner arrives
The Xiaomi Smart Door Lock E10 is now available to pre-order in China. There are multiple ways to unlock the gadget, including fingerprint recognition with 99% accuracy and a 0.5-second lag. You can also set long-term or temporary passwords or use NFC or Bluetooth to open your door with your smartphone or smartwatch. Plus, you could use the accompanying physical key in emergencies. The device is fitted with a C-class cylinder lock and ten security technologies to help keep you safe.
A physical dial on the inside panel of the lock can prevent anyone from unlocking the door from outside, which could be helpful at night. The product is compatible with the Mijia smart home system, enabling you to link the device to gadgets such as lights, which you could trigger to turn off when you leave the house. Plus, the smart lock has a built-in doorbell which visitors can use to initiate a sound in your home or a Mijia app notification. Another app feature is the ability to check whether your door is locked and lock or unlock the door remotely.
The device is powered by four AA batteries which are expected to deliver one year of life. The gadget can provide low battery reminders, and an emergency power supply can be attached via USB-C. Each panel of the lock measures 365 x 74 mm (~14.4 x 2.9-in), with the front side measuring 21.5 mm (~0.8-in) thick and the rear 23.5 mm (~0.9-in) thick. You can currently pre-order the Xiaomi Smart Door Lock E10 in China for 799 yuan (~US$113) with a 50 yuan (~US$7) deposit.
