Xiaomi Pocophone F1 full specs and first pics surface online
Xiaomi is probably not happy about the latest leaks surrounding the Pocophone F1 model that should be officially announced soon. This smartphone was already spotted in AnTuTu’s benchmarks, while one site from Belarus and one from Romania leaked the specs and several pictures. Apart from the Snapdragon 845 SoC powering the model (which features liquid cooling), the RAM/storage configurations and the notched screen, the other specs were quite sketchy prior to these two leaks. The problem is some of the specs seem to differ from site to site, which could suggest that there might be two different versions.
Looking at the screen size first, the Belarusian site lists a 6.16-inch IPS panel with 1080+ resolution, whereas the Romania site lists a 5.99-inch screen with 2,246 x 1,080 resolution. Most of the other specs appear to coincide on both sites, revealing a 20 MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture and a 12 MP + 5 MP dual cam on the back with f/1.75 aperture and Dual Pixel autofocus.
This smartphone also features 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, but previous leaks also mentioned an 8 GB / 128 GB model. Additionally, there is a 4,000 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 features, a USB-C port and a hybrid dual SIM that allows for storage expansion via microSD. Audiophiles will be happy to find the 3.5 mm audio jack on the upper side, and there also is a fingerprint reader under the rear camera setup.
The Romanian site PC Garage posted several pics and even claims they have it in stock for ~US$487, which makes it the most affordable Snapdragon-845-poweverd phone available right now.
Update: PC Garage and the Belarusian store took down the info from their sites in the meantime.
