Xiaomi Poco X5 and Poco X5 Pro comprehensive details outed via marketing material leak
The Xiaomi Poco X5 series is scheduled to debut on February 6. The Poco X5 and Poco X5 Pro will make their debuts on that date globally, and what appears to be official marketing material for both phones has now leaked, revealing all major details of the mid-range devices.
Starting with the vanilla Poco X5, that phone will sport a 6.67-inch 120 Hz AMOLED with a 240 Hz touch sampling rate and a peak brightness of 1200 nits. Under the hood will be a Snapdragon 695, the same chipset on last year's Poco X4 Pro. Camera-wise, the Poco X5 will come equipped with a 48 MP main camera, 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, 2 MP macro lens, and a 13 MP selfie shooter in front. Other specs include a 5000 mAh battery and 33 W fast charging. Interestingly, it seems the Poco X5 will only launch globally and not in India.
The Poco X5 Pro will, of course, be the star of the show. It will sport a 6.67-inch FHD+ 120 Hz AMOLED, with 1920 Hz PWM. Gone is the underpowered Snapdragon 695 from last year's phone; in its place is the considerably more impressive Snapdragon 778G. The Poco X5 Pro boasts more impressive cameras than the vanilla Poco X5, with a 108 MP main camera, 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, 2 MP macro lens, and a 16 MP selfie camera. There's a 5000 mAh battery as well, but charging gets bumped up to 67 W.
