With time to spare: Leaker reveals Sony's new PlayStation Plus triple-A free game plan for mid-March 2026

Leaker billbil-kun has now shared updated expectations about Sony's upcoming PlayStation Plus (PS Plus) additions. To recap, an X account initially claimed that Dragon's Dogma 2 and Final Fantasy XVI would be included (curr. $23.99 on Amazon).
Now, billbil-kun has refuted this rumour. Writing on Dealabs, the leaker adds that they attempted to contact the source but did not receive a response. Not only does billbil-kun claim that this earlier rumour was inaccurate, but they also claim that Sony will expand its PS Plus catalogue with the following PS5 titles:
- Madden NFL 26
- Metal Eden
- Persona 5 Royal
- The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria
- Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2
Also, they assert that Persona 5 Royal will be available for PS4 gamers, as well. Moreover, Astroneer will be joining the party too, but only for PS4. For reference, Sony has already confirmed that it will be complementing these games with Tekken Dark Resurrection for PS Plus Premium subscribers. Reportedly, Sony will announce its next batch of PS Plus games on March 11 at 15:30 UTC. All the games listed should be available to download on March 17.
