We have heard about a bezel-less concept phone from Huawei for weeks now. Similar to the Xiaomi Mix it is said to offer almost no bezels but contrary to the mentioned Xiaomi device, that retains a small chin below the display, the Huawei design concept is said to feature a "quad-edge-screen", meaning all four sides will have curved edges and no bezels. Rumors have it, that this phone might even come without speakers and cameras and instead rely on companion devices for these functions.
While we suspected that Huawei might introduce that concept phone soon, we did not expect it to be that soon. Today, Huawei's sub brand Honor posted a teaser, suggesting a product launch for tomorrow, December 7th, that could very well be that concept phone. According to a Weibo user, Huawei decided to launch the phone as part of Honor's phone lineup to not get in the way of the Mate 9 launch. Apart from featuring a new design, Huawei is said to integrate their new battery technology into this new concept phone. Let's wait and see what Honor will reveal tomorrow!
