Where is My Body? Game Boy cartridge exceeds 600% of its funding goal on Kickstarter
Nintendo may be readying itself to release a new version of the Switch next year, but the original Game Boy still has a loyal fan base. To that end, Greenboy Games, an independent studio, has developed a new 8-bit point-and-click adventure for the ancient handheld console. The game is called Where is My Body?, and it comes as a physical cartridge for the Game Boy. Greenboy Games only sought €4,000 in funding on Kickstarter, but the company received over €24,000 from 377 backers. In other words, Greenboy Games received more than 600% of its funding goal.
Where is My Body? is the fifth game that Greenboy Games has developed for the Game Boy. The games even come in an official-looking retail box to add to the nostalgia, although these versions cost €80. A nice touch is that Greenboy Games offered the game a US/EU or Japan box, along with instruction booklets for both.
The game has two chapters, which Greenboy Games calls The Lab and The City. These should be fairly self-explanatory, but the company has provided an overview of the game on Indiegogo and Kickstarter. Where is My Body? can be pre-ordered on Indiegogo for €35. Greenboy Games hopes to begin delivering to backers in November 2020.
