Thousands of users are reporting issues with WhatsApp today. Most of them can't send or receive photos, while others are facing connectivity problems.

If you're currently having trouble using WhatsApp, you're not alone. Thousands of users are reporting issues with the messaging service, and it appears the problem is on WhatsApp's side rather than with your device or internet connection.

The outage started around an hour ago, when many users began posting on social media about problems with the app. Shortly after, reports on Downdetector and Statusgator started rising quickly, suggesting the issue is affecting a large number of users instead of just a handful of individuals.

Based on user reports, the biggest problem right now is sending and receiving photos. Many users say images fail to upload or download, while others report they can't post anything to their WhatsApp Status. Some users are also seeing connectivity-related errors, preventing the app from working normally.

At the time of writing, WhatsApp has not officially confirmed what is causing the issue or provided an estimated time for a fix. Unfortunately, there isn't much users can do on their end. Since the problem appears to be with WhatsApp's servers, basic troubleshooting steps are unlikely to help. For now, the best option is to wait until WhatsApp rolls out an official fix and service returns to normal.
