Waffle Home wireless phone lets children call mom for free while eliminating doomscrolling and social media harm

The Waffle Home wireless phone for kids delivers peace-of-mind to parents by eliminating apps, blocking calls from strangers, and eliminating mindless doomscrolling and gaming. The company offers two plans for the phone, a free tier that allows calls with one designated safe contact, and a $9.99/month plan that allows calls with unlimited designated contacts.
Critically, the Waffle Home completely eliminates insidious social media companies from causing harm to young children, which includes cyberbullying, fat shaming, self-harm, and contacts from child predators. Meta recently accepted an $18 billion settlement and promised to make significant changes to its social media services due to the many children harmed, with about 600 names of those affected written on a large banner held by grieving parents at the Oakland, California courthouse.
The colorful Waffle Home phone comes in three colorways, with a corded phone and base. The entire unit is wireless and battery powered, allowing children to take the phone from room to room or outside. The phone runs on cellular service, and two plans are available.

The free tier provides up to 400 minutes of calls per month to one designated contact. This allows children to remain safe and call moms without worry at home or on-the-go. The $9.99/month tier enables unlimited calls to an unlimited number of designated contacts. Children can always call emergency services on any plan.
Parents can add and remove contacts using the Waffle app for smartphones, as well as control and monitor usage and track their children using GPS.

The Waffle Home phone can be ordered for $119 from the company website, with shipments starting October 30, 2026.
