WS29 smartwatch launches globally with NFC payment and Bluetooth calling abilities

The WS29 smartwatch is now available via AliExpress. The gadget has a 1.32-in (~33.5 mm) HD touchscreen display with a 360 x 360 px resolution. The wearable features NFC Alipay, allowing you to make payments directly from the watch. You can also use the NFC to unlock smart doors and locks.

You can connect the WS29 to your smartphone via Bluetooth 5.0, enabling music playback, remote phone controls and hands-free calling. Another tool is an AI voice assistant, allowing you to control the wearable with voice commands. Health tools on the device include multiple sports modes, heart rate and blood pressure monitors; it is worth noting that these tools are unlikely to have approval from a medical body like the FDA. The gadget is IP68 waterproof, enabling you to wear the watch in the shower or while swimming.

The WS29 watch has a 300 mAh battery and can be recharged wirelessly. The 2.2-in (56 mm) wide watch body has a zinc alloy casing alongside a silicone strap and is available in black, silver and gold colorways. You can currently purchase the WS29 smartwatch via AliExpress from the discounted price of US$26.31; the gadget is expected to retail from US$55.98 in the future. The company is shipping the device globally from China, with delivery to the US expected later in September.
