Voxel 1 robot can tidy up, water plants and clean up dirt

Smart homes have so far largely been limited to robot vacuums and AI companion robots, but with Voxel Series 1, Tuesday Labs aims to show that modern robots can be far more useful. The New York-based robot manufacturer has developed a humanoid robot with two legs and two arms that is designed to handle many household chores with the help of artificial intelligence.
The robot can learn where different objects in the home belong and then tidy up on its own. Voxel Series 1 can also water plants, detect and clean up dirt, and put dishes away. The robot navigates its surroundings using two RGB cameras and two ultra-wide-angle cameras, and interacts with the user primarily through voice commands. This equipment is also intended to enable the robot to track down objects, for example by searching for a misplaced remote control or bringing a drink to the couch.
Although the robot has a humanoid form, its design does not resemble a real human. Instead, Tuesday Labs uses an angular housing in yellow and brown. The cameras are hidden behind a brown cover. The "eyes" in the torso, together with a speaker opening, form a face intended to give the robot a certain charm.
Pricing and availability
Tuesday Labs will only ship Voxel Series 1 to customers in the US at launch. Anyone with a suitable delivery address can reserve the robot now with a deposit of $200. The robot is expected to launch in 2028 at a price of $20,000.
