Vivo unveiled the NEX Ultimate only in June this year and released the device in July, but the internet is already buzzing with leaks of the NEX 2 smartphone. Last week we reported on a leak purporting to show that the NEX 2 will have two displays, but now Vivo has added to the speculation with a series of marketing videos that have been posted on its Chinese website.
The short videos support the idea that the NEX 2 will have a secondary display, but also that it may feature a triple camera array and some sort of LED light around one of the cameras. All three videos can be viewed here. Moreover, the NEX 2 may have up to 10 GB RAM and 128 GB storage, according to a Weibo user.
We suspect that the NEX 2 will have three rear-facing cameras, a 6.59-inch Super AMOLED display and at least a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC. Multiple sources also report that Vivo will announce the device on December 11. There is currently no word on pricing or global availability.
