While it doesn’t need to be attached, the hand strap makes it easier to hold the Pad 2, a substantial mass of more than a kilogram. Ulefone also offers an alternative design of hand strap, the THS02, as an accessory that also operates as a kickstand. While the light might be useful for those sleeping in a remote area, it does consume 5.5W and might eat into battery life. The uSmart connector we’ve seen on previous Ulefone phones, like the Armor 24, provides access to a range of accessories, including endoscopes and microscopes intended to exploit it. As with most Ulefone products, the Armor Pad 2 is well-made and specified, and there aren’t any obvious mistakes in its design. The only question that needs to be asked is why this device is nearly double that of some alternatives.

The Ulefone Armor Pad 3 Pro is very good for what it was designed to do. It’s a rugged tablet that will have little trouble operating in the field or even for activities such as camping. With its durable and rugged design, it can take a beating and keep on going. Thanks to the uSmart and audio connectors, the Armor Pad 3 Pro can be tailored for various use cases. The LED lights are also awesome to have and work significantly better than the one on your phone. It emits lantern-level brightness, making it great for activities in the dark.

Please be as confused as we are about the Ulefone naming conventions since this product underlines that they make no sense at all. The Ulefone Armor Pad 3 Pro is the bigger brother of the recently released Ulefone Armor Pad Pro, an 8-inch tablet. And like many of the best rugged tablets, this one gets a 10.31-inch display with a better resolution, a slightly better primary camera, and an enormous 33280 mAh battery. It also has inbuilt illumination, pogo pins for a selection of accessories, and some special add-ons, like an external speaker. But critically, this is the same processor as the Pad Pro, and it's less powerful than the old Pad 2.

The Ulefone Pad Pro is cheap and largely cheerful as a basic tablet. It needs a vehicle mount, and the design needs faster charging, but as a rugged Android 13 device, we've seen much worse, priced higher. If you need an endoscope or microscope for work, this is an inexpensive way to get one that works reasonably well. This tablet can cope with getting dirty and even wet without dying immediately. The battery is big enough to last a few days of use, but the charging speed is slow and doesn't support wireless charging. Overall, the Ulefone Pad Pro is surprisingly good for the low price if you are willing to accept some of its quirks.

Tons of accessories and a common platform with the standard Pad 4 Ultra. This model asks the question, would you pay $50 more for thermal imaging? Many might take that deal. This is a great all-around tablet if you can cope with the shiny screen reflections.

8.00:
Large smartphones and a few small tablets are available for this display size. Unlike most smartphones, you can see more on the screen, more details and use larger resolutions. Such formats are better for people with defective vision. However, such devices are no longer easy to fit in a pocket, and they are probably not quite light either.

77.11%: This rating is not earth-shattering. This rating must actually be seen as average, since there are about as many devices with worse ratings as better ones. A purchase recommendation can only be seen with a lot of goodwill, unless it is about websites that generally rate strictly.
