Ugreen launching new mini GaN fast charger

The Ugreen Fingertip Power 45W GaN Mini Fast Charger has been launched in China. Joining the brand’s Nexode Air range, this charging accessory is said to use seventh-generation GaN technology with improved heat dissipation.

Ugreen’s Fingertip Power 45W GaN Mini Fast Charger has a single USB-C port, delivering an up to 45W output. The company estimates that this would allow you to charge an iPhone 17 to around 50% in 20 minutes. It supports a range of fast charging protocols, such as PD3.0, PPS and QC4+. Plus, there are various safety features, protecting against issues like overheating, overvoltage and overcurrent.

Ugreen is offering its new Fingertip Power 45W GaN Mini Fast Charger in three colors - white, orange and dark blue - matching the colorways of the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max. The compact accessory weighs 49.5 g (~1.75 oz) and measures 100 x 100 x 36.5 mm (~3.94 x 3.94 x 1.44 inches), with folding pins to make it even easier to transport. The company suggests that it is 87% smaller than the equivalent last-generation Ugreen charger.

In China, the Ugreen Fingertip Power 45W GaN Mini Fast Charger retails for CNY 99 (~$15). It is unclear whether or when this charging accessory could be released in other markets like the US, where the brand is already selling the Ugreen Nexode 45W 2-Port Charger (curr. $23.99 at Amazon).
