Deal | Two surprise free games go live on Epic Games Store

Epic Games Store is currently giving away two free PC games that are part of the regular giveaway program. However, these are not the only freebies that are available to claim on the platform right now.
Vornyca and Together After Dark are two additional free games that users can claim on Epic Games Store. Like some of the recent freebies, these are not part of the weekly giveaway program. Instead, it's the developers of the games that have initiated this additional giveaway.
Among the two, Together After Dark is a co-op game that aims to deliver a psychological horror experience. It has support for up to 4 players, and the storyline is pretty simple. The players find themselves stuck in a forest, and they need to find a way out.
However, as players venture through the forest, they find that they are not the only ones. The game has paranormal events that do a good job of heightening the tension, and the chilling atmosphere fits the theme well. But it's worth mentioning that this is a solid developer project, and as some players noted on Steam, the controls could be a bit polished.
When not on sale, Together After Dark costs $2.99, but on Epic Games Store, it will be available as a free game until April 5, 2026. Moving to the second highlight, Vornyca is a side-scrolling adventure title that's about the last surviving AI. Players get to experience a story that's filled with emotion and make logical choices.
This indie platformer has multiple maps, and each of the terrains has special environmental elements that set them apart. The visuals are good for a low-budget project, but the gameplay can feel a bit repetitive at times.
Vornyca goes for $4.99 when not discounted, and players can claim it as a free game from Epic Games Store until April 5, 2026. Check out the videos attached below to learn more about these two free games.
