Trekstor announces Primebook C13 2-in-1 to compete against the Dell Inspiron 3000 2-in-1
The Hessian-German company, Trekstor, who has been producing laptops, tablets, and phones since 2001, has now announced the new entry in their Primebook family. The Primebook C13 LTE is a convertible 2-in-1 device that wants to compete against the likes of the Dell Inspiron 3000 2-in-1 and the HP Pavilion x360 14t, but with mobile data connectivity.
Key specifications include:
- Celeron N3350 dual-core 1.1 GHz base and 2.4 GHz burst
- 4 GB RAM
- 64 GB eMMC Storage
- 13.3-inch 1920 x 1080 touch screen
- MicroSD card slot supporting up to 128 GB
- 2 x USB3, Micro-HDMI, USB-C (inc DisplayPort and power)
- 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, 4G LTE
The body is a mixture of aluminum panels and plastic panels and uses a 360-degree hinge to fold back completely on itself to enter tablet mode. The touchpad has an integrated fingerprint scanner for Windows Hello on Windows 10 Home. With these specifications, this isn't intended to be a person's primary machine, but it would make an excellent secondary device to a desktop user.
The Trekstor Primebook C13 measures 320 x 210 x 15 mm (12.6 x 8.27 x 0.59 inches), weights 1.39 kg (3.06 pounds), and has a battery capacity of 41.8 Wh. MSRP comes in at EUR€499 (US$585 inc. tax), and we anticipate release in early December.
