The new Inspiron models start at $249 USD, offering a wide selection of options, including a Core m3 setup with 4 GB RAM and 500 GB storage space that retails for $450 USD.

The Dell Inspiron 11 3000 family mainly consists for small and affordable portables, but the latest additions to this lineup come with a few options that provide interesting choices for those looking for some additional computing power and features as well. Back in January, Dell introduced to this family a laptop powered by an Intel Braswell chip that starts at just $199 USD, and now a convertible with touchscreen and a Skylake processor has been added to the lineup.

The latest Dell Inspiron 11 3000 laptops offer the following highlights:

  • Intel Core m3 6Y30, 4 GB RAM, 500 GB 5400 RPM hard drive ($449.99 USD)

According to Dell, the models with eMMC storage and Celeron processor have an autonomy of almost 10 hours, while models with a mechanical hard drive and a more powerful processor can provide up to around 8 hours of battery life on a single charge. The list of common features includes WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 connectivity, an 11.6-inch touchscreen display with 1,366X768 pixels, spill-resistant keyboard, microSD card reader, as well as a 720p webcam.

The new Dell Inspiron 11 3000 models ship with Windows 10 in most countries, but select markets should get Ubuntu-powered versions as well.
