The 1.1 kg 2-in-1 notebook will come with a hefty starting price. Configurable options include up to the Kaby Lake Core i7-7600U with 512 GB of SSD storage.

Toshiba unveiled its high-end 12.5-inch Portege X20W convertible at this year's CES and the first SKUs should be making its way to European markets starting next month for about 2000 Euros for the lowest-end SKU. The initial three options are as listed below with differences largely in the Kaby Lake processors and SSD sizes.

After graduating with a B.S. in environmental hydrodynamics from the University of California, I studied reactor physics to become licensed by the U.S. NRC to operate nuclear reactors. There's a striking level of appreciation you gain for everyday consumer electronics after working with modern nuclear reactivity systems astonishingly powered by computers from the 80s.
